Smartphone market is flooded with similar functionalities, does USP still mean anything to our target audiences? To establish OPPO’s leading position in creativity, we partnered with 6 creators from the globe to challenge the cliche influencer photos/videos on Instagram and inspire people to do something different with their creativity. Each of the creators was given an OPPO Reno2 phone, and use the phone to shoot a mobile first video. Our brief to them is very simple, the video has to show his / her very own perspective, in a very unique way that hasn't been seen on Instagram before.

Worked with Instagram Community Lab in New York, we researched and handpicked the most suitable creators out of over 100 creators.

Co-creation with Creators

Unlike other routine influencer unboxing campaigns, we worked with creators closely, from briefing to ideation, from prototyping to shooting. In this way, we ensured to best leverage the authentic creativity of creators yet maintain consistence in brand and communications

This campaign not just helped the OPPO to grow their awareness and business, it also shifted their mindset of how to work with Instagram community in the future in a more strategic and effective way.
