Despite being a young brand and far away from the “standard” classic whiskey distillery area, Kavalan makes award-wining whiskey uniquely crafted in the heat of Taiwan. Turning weakness into unique brand story, Kavalan stands itself with “Crafted in the Heat” in the global whiskey scene and unlock international market beyond the home country incl, US, Germany and France.

Young whiskey drinkers crave for stories and fun facts to brag about in front of their friends. Who would be in a better position than the master blender of Kavalan, Mr Ian Chang, to speak for the brand?

 
 

With Facebook Instant Experiences, Ian took whiskey drinkers through a virtual tour of Kavalan’s distillery in Yilan and shared abundant insider knowledge.

The videos are all shot in vertical format. It took Kavalan quite some time to shift from thinking traditionally to thinking mobile. Crafted in the Heat is Kavalan’s first global branding campaign on social media platform, which allows the brand to reach new customers unprecedentedly.
